The most famous thing everyone is talking about around the world right now is the Chinese spy balloon. It made its way almost completely around every state before they finally got it down. On the president’s side, they wanted to wait and make sure that its path was clear when they shot it down. They also monitored its path very closely to see where it all went. They made sure when they shot it down that there would be no harm to life on the ground. It flew around from January 28 to February 4. That’s a long time which means it made it far. The Chinese spy balloon traveled the country before it was taken down on February 4, 2023. It was flying at 60,000 feet. The spy balloon was used to take “pictures of whatever is going on down below on the ground”. The balloon was more than likely capable of listening to conversations on the ground and pinpointing the location of that conversation at that time. As the massive balloon traveled the U.S, going over several sensitive military sites along the way, it carried equipment that was made to intercept conversations.  “It had multiple antennas to include an array likely capable of collecting and geolocating communications,” the official said. “It was equipped with solar panels large enough to produce the requisite power to operate multiple active intelligence collection sensors.” Now that we all know about this spy balloon we have discovered that China has sent at least four different spy balloons over the past six years. According to published PLA procurement documents. “The company also advertises balloon products on its website and hosts videos from past flights, which appear to have overflown at least U.S. airspace and airspace of other countries,” the official said in Thursday’s statement. “These advertised balloon videos seemingly have similar flight patterns as the balloons we have been discussing this week.” They say that it was about the size of a jetliner. Some say they think it should have been shot down a lot sooner than it was but then it brings us back up to where it says that they wanted to make sure it didn’t “harm life on ground”. A U.S fighter jet shot it down after flying all around the world for 4 days. They are still investigating and looking for things that could’ve been inside of the balloon.
