Morgan Wallen canceled his show in Mississippi after he “lost his voice.” A lot of people are mad at Wallen and have had mixed feelings about what actually happened. Morgan was not “too drunk” to perform on Sunday night. The hired security guard started the rumor about Morgan, and it got around very fast. The fans have taken it to an extreme extent with him canceling his concert. Fans have filed lawsuits against him because of the money that they “wasted”. “Ladies & Gentlemen, Unfortunately, Morgan has lost his voice and is unable to perform tonight – therefore tonight’s show has been canceled. Please make your way safely to the stadium exits. Refunds for tonight’s event will be available at point of purchase,” stated a post on a massive stage screen. Sometimes fans forget that he is human too, and it is very sad. “After last night’s show I started losing my voice, so I spent the day resting up talking to my doctor and working through my vocal exercises trying to get better. I really thought I’d be able to take the stage and it kills me to deliver this so close to showtime, but my voice is shot, and I am unable to sing,” stated the 2022 Academy of Country Music Album of the Year winner via social media just before his scheduled performance in Oxford, Mississippi. I think that if it would’ve happened to me while I was waiting for him to come onto stage and got that kind of information, I would be upset but to take It that far? No. He is going to have another concert date, so I honestly don’t understand why they are taking it as far as filing a lawsuit, although a lot of rumors are going around like that, he was too drunk to perform, or that he just didn’t want to sing at that time. It’s sad because it’s like he can’t do anything without being a bad person. He can’t even be outside of his own home without being videoed and posted all over social platforms. After Wallen bailed on a concert with more than 60,000 of his fans, one filed a lawsuit against him for it. They will be refunding the ticket prices until he makes the next concert date known. In the video, the security guard comments that Wallen losing his voice is “bull crap” and agrees when asked by the attendee if Wallen didn’t perform because he was too drunk. The guard also claimed that Wallen was taken to the hospital by ambulance. It has also been said that they “pumped his stomach out at the hospital” However, the lawsuit was dismissed Tuesday morning, but lawyers plan to refile it. While Morgan lost his voice, I think it is something that he cannot have control over. Morgan Wallens music has played one of the biggest parts in my life the past few years. I used to be obsessed with his music. Here recently I haven’t been listening to him as much as I used to. That doesn’t mean that I won’t take up for him when something that he physically and mentally cannot control. Wallen said that he has talked with his doctor, and they have put him on vocal rest until further notice. After he broke the heartbreaking news to his fans, he spent the rest of the day resting and getting better. The new concert date is set to be on April 27^th in Grand Rapids, Michigan in hopes that he will be better by then and ready to put on a wonderful show for his fans that are upset about the news given to them on Sunday night.
