Sweden is a European country in the upper area near Russia and they will be the 32^nd country to join NATO. Coming in a time of great fear at the Russian Ukraine war in and out the country 

On February 26th, 2024, Hungary began supporting the ratification of Sweden joining the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and are soon going to join them as a 32nd country to join. Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson says that Getting approval from the Hungarian parliament was the final hurdle for Stockholm joining NATO with 6 out of the 194 members rejecting the proposal. “Today is a historic day,” Kristersson said on X shortly after the vote. “Sweden stands ready to shoulder its responsibility for Euro-Atlantic security”. Sweden will finally join NATO once they send its instrument of accession with the United States government. The main reason of Sweden joining NATO is the same reason as Finland in 2023, for protection against Russia since the invasion in 2021 which is ironic because the Russian invasion was due to an increased distance between Russia and NATO land. “Sweden’s membership will make us all stronger and safer,” Ulf Kristersson said.
