The weather for the past few weeks was extremely cold. It had been snowing and flooding, but luckily this week it has slowed down. This has caused us to miss a lot of school days, and yes, it is nice but what do those missed days mean for our summer? Every day we miss, not counting non-traditional snow days means later the date is when we will go into our summer break.

Ava Cottrell a 9th grader here at Scott High School says that she has mixed feeling about the snow days.

“Having all these days off is nice, but not nice enough to miss out most of my summer,” Cottrell said.

So, when exactly are we starting summer? The previous date was June fourth but who knows what it is now. I just hope it is not that far away!
