The past week sophomores have been going to the vocational school to interview for classes! Vocay has a big selection of classes, but only the best of the best students are allowed in. Some of the classes they offer are automotive, health science, cosmetology, and culinary. You have to have good attendance and a good GPA, to maybe be selected.

Owen Arkola a sophomore here at Scott High School says that he was a bit nervous for his interview.

“I was scared for my interview at first but I think it went pretty well because I have a good GPA,” Arkola said.

Many sophomores have even dressed up in their best clothes to attend these interviews. It’s nice to see these interviews taken so seriously because that’s how real world job interviews are going to go. It is a wonderful opportunity to get hands-on experience in high school.
