“Sugar Free Venom” is a newly released song by the J-pop group f5ve. This song features the iconic artist, Kesha. This song was included in their debut album “Sequence” being the lead single. The album and single were released on May 5, 2025. Alongside the album and single came a music video.

The group describes this song sounding like a “rap anthem.” It infuses multiple genres including dance, rock, funk, and hyperpop. In my opinion, this song is literally so good. It gave me the feel of second-generation girl groups. With the addition of Kesha’s verse and her cameo in the music video just made it even better.

I think f5ve has already started releasing great music like “Magic Clock”. But a lot of people just started looking into them because of this comeback. Which is great because they have so much potential. They made the “Sugar Free Venom” music video on a tight budget. It still turned out amazing. So, in conclusion I’m very excited to see what else f5ve has to offer in their future comebacks.
