Tyler Walls Signs Intent to Play at Waynesburg University
Recently, at Scott High School, Tyler Walls, a Senior basketball player, signed his letter of commitment to Waynesburg University to play division three basketball.
Walls said that he began playing basketball while he was very young and fell in love very quickly.
“I began playing basketball when I was four years old, and since then, I have never put it down,” Walls said.
Walls has always excelled on the court while being inspired by many people.
“Along this path, many people have inspired me, including my parents, every coach I’ve ever had, especially Coach Ballard,” Walls said.
Walls also excels in the classroom while maintaining a 4.5 GPA. It has been Walls’s big goal to go and play college basketball ever since his freshman year.
“Even though hard times have happened, the Lord is always there for me and everyone else,” Walls said.
Walls attends church at McCorkle Free Will Baptist and says he is very committed to being successful and serving the Lord.
“I would like to give all glory to God; he has been with me through every step of this journey,” Walls said.
Walls plans to study Sports Media during his time at Waynesburg to develop as a basketball player and a person. The Skyhawk Times staff congratulates Walls on his accomplishment and wishes him the best of luck at Waynesburg University.
