With December comes Christmas and, with Christmas comes all sorts of things to do. However, there is only one thing that we will talk about in this article and that is Christmas movies.

Over the years with each Christmas Hollywood and other major players in the movie making scene create new movies centered around a Christmas theme. This year is no different with Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and other streaming services adding new and old Christmas movies to their pages for us to watch.

Each year my family on Christmas eve would dress up in pajamas, play board games and watch a Christmas movie, a family tradition. And I always find myself asking what my favorite Christmas movie is? When it comes to it, I always have 2 movies I remember home alone and a christmas story.

Both movies portray young boys in different situations as christmas rolls around the corner. A christmas story talks about a boy who goes through christmas and has many events happen to him all while wishing for a red rider bb gun which people only tell him, “You’ll shoot your eye out kid,” to which he finally gets it on christmas day just for him to shoot it and for him to break his glasses as a bb to ricochet into them.

Home alone portrays a young boy who gets into a fight with his family before they go on vacation. The next day he is forgotten at home, and he believes he made his family disappear so when 2 home invaders come to rob the house, so he decides to defend it.

When it comes to christmas we all love a good christmas movie so what’s yours.
