The 2024 Solar Eclipse

On the Monday of April 8 was the 2024 solar eclipse, many people came and went to get the best spots inside the line of totality (a line where you will be able to see the full eclipse), if not then only partial eclipse.

After everything is said and done, you might be wondering what to do after the event with their eyes and glasses. If you know anything about a solar eclipse it is that of the heavily promoted action of not looking at sun without your glasses. If you did then you might have gotten some new things in your eyes, if you have any black spots or different colorings that appear when you close your eyes, then its highly likely that you might have damaged your eyes. Be sure to check with your eye doctor if you have any of these symptoms.

When viewing and after viewing the eclipse, you might wonder what to do with your special AAS (American Astronomical Society) approved solar eclipse viewing glasses. Eclipse Glasses USA (a glasses manufacturer) says that the best thing to do is to recycle the glasses back to them, this way other people can easily use them without wasting more resources. Watch out as you want to make sure that the lenses are not broken in any way, as they may make them faulty and could damage someone else’s eyes. These glasses will be shipped off to Europe for the next total solar eclipse in 2026 which will be viewed in Spain, Greenland, Iceland, and Russia.
