Throughout the west coast, there has been storm after storm in recent days. These have been intense with many schools closed and tornado and flood warnings being issued in most of the state. This all happened on Thursday April 11 when a day later, on the 12^th Scott high School, closed for the community to recollect themselves. What was supposed to be a 2-hour delay turned into another make-up day for the end of the year. 

The Boone County is on its way to recovery and rebuilding. The damages are currently being repaired, most of it being on the local roads. Road repairs have caused the bus service to change, causing difficulties and different routes to get everyone to school on time. High damages go across the entire Ohio valley, with Charleston being hit the hardest. Lots of damages and High flood waters devastated Kanawha County Thursday. This storm has affected most of the east coast with damage from Pennsylvania to Florida, with even a few small tornados forming in Florida and Mississippi causing injuries and hundreds of homes and businesses to be destroyed and 120,000 without power alongside up to 7 inches of rain.
