Bloodborne Review (For the Playstation 4)

It all started, March 24, 2015, Bloodborne was released into the world for millions of people to play it, the same people that made Dark Souls, Sekiro, Elden Ring, touched this fantastic masterpiece. It sounds like I am just exaggerating this up, but I am not, if you ever touched a Fromsoftware game before. You will know, they are not anything to play around with. This game is beautiful, the story is simply crazy, without further ado, Lets Dive in.

Bloodborne is a Survival Horror, Action-Roleplaying Game, The Location of the Game is based off Prague, Romania, and The Czech Republic. It begins with you getting talked to by a guy saying how you need to sign a contract, all that yada. You can customize your character, like any other RPG game, but we are not here for that. After that, you wake up in a clinic that is abandoned other than a werewolf having dinner in the room. I played this game for the first time a week ago, it was difficult because I was just introduced to games like this. You must be experienced with parrying and fighting if you want to progress in this game. They test you with two bosses back-to-back to see if this game is meant for you. Cleric Beast is one of them, he teaches you how to dodge swiping attacks and predict how an enemy is going to behave when fought. Father Gascoigne is a beast priest that thinks you are going to turn into a beast eventually, so he has a grudge against you. He teaches you how to fight 2 forms, his beast and human side. Before we dive into more fighting tactics and bosses, if you search up the architecture of Bloodborne. You would be amazed due to how cool all the buildings look, The Buildings are inspired from the 19th century of London, and other Europe Countries Architecture. The beginning creatures of the game are quite literally British. So technically, you are just eliminating British People. That is everybody’s dream, they have bad dental hygiene anyway. (I am just kidding).

Anyways, the atmosphere of Bloodborne is just so gothic like. It really sets the mood of you aimlessly wandering and the danger of running into enemies without knowing. I was never really a huge fan of these types of games till I touched Bloodborne. Dark Siders 3 was the first game I would ever touch that was like these types of games and I did not really like it because I was a kid, and as a kid I was into Call of Duty and Grand Theft Auto. It really does not hurt to touch some other genres, Like Skyrim or Fallout, both fantastic games from Bethesda.

There are 17 bosses (21 including the DLC). If you take a little peep, or a single look at the bosses’ style, you would be in awe of how cool they are, but if you want to stay oblivious to how the bosses look. You can go blind and experience them for yourself, and it was scary and fun to experience them for the first time.

I am afraid, this is all I have about Bloodborne. Remember before you start the game, may you find your worth in the waking world.
