This is Mrs. Amy Hale’s second year as the principal of Scott High School.

Hale went to Scott High School when she was younger.

“It was a goal of mine to become a principal at Scott,” Hale said.

Hale said she has been working on ways to improve student academic performance.

“My achievements for the school year are to have higher SAT scores,” Hale said.

She said she likes working at Scott so she can assist students in growing up.

“I like to help mold students into adults,” Hale said. “I like trying to have an impact on the Scott kids’ lives.”

Hale went to multiple colleges, including West Virginia University.

Hale said she enjoys books in her time off.

“I love to read,” Hale said.

Hale said she likes to go to Gospel concerts.
