Stephen Curry is one of the most famous basketball sportsmen. He was born on March 14, 1988, in Akron, Ohio. He was a child who loved to play basketball. His father, Dell Curry was a basketball player who taught him how to shoot the ball. The practice helped him with his skill over the years. Shortly after finishing high school, he was brought to Davidson College after playing for his school’s team. He became a superstar there! He helped put that college basketball team to fame by winning many games. After his college career, he was selected to play in the NBA, for the Golden State Warriors. Stephen is most famous for being, oh so, great at shooting three-pointers. Meaning you shoot the ball from far away, and if you make it, you get three points! On February 27, he did something spectacular: making twelve threes and fifty-six points in all. Stephen is also well known for being very humble and kind. He loves his family and spends lots and lots of time with them. He is married to Ayesha, with whom they have three children. Other than being a player, Steph is a great role model.
