Mrs. Brown is a Grandmother!

Recently, at Scott High School, one of our ELA teachers, Mrs. Brown, became a grandmother.

Her grandchild’s name is Colt Cline. He was born around two weeks ago, and she says he is a wonderful child. Brown said she loves being a grandmother and that it is one of the best feelings.

She said that she was still shocked about the whole situation.

“I didn’t feel old enough to be a grandmother,” Brown said.

Colt’s parents are Chloe and Sammy Cline, and Mrs. Brown says she is positive they are going to be amazing parents together.

Brown said that when she was younger, her grandfather always said, “if I knew having grandkids was this great, I would have had them first.” She said that she didn’t fully understand what he meant by that until recently, when she became a grandmother.

“I didn’t know I could love a child as much as my own until Colt,” Brown said.

All of us at the Skyhawk Times wish Mrs. Brown and her daughter congratulations on this amazing feat of their lives!
