I watched the Forrest Gump movie and I believe it was great. I loved the setting and the plot of the movie. One of my favorite things about the movie was how it was a story at the same time. He speaks about how his childhood life was and how he was when he was an adult. Many people can take it different ways. Some can take it as a funny story, and some can take it as a life lesson. I personally took it as both. I thought it was a very funny movie but i also thought it showed that whatever is wrong with you, you can always be successful in some way.

The only thing I did not like about the movie was that there was a lot of sadness, but I feel like without all the sadness throughout the movie it would not have been the same. Tom Hanks played a great role during the film as Forrest although that is not his usual type of character. I feel like the character Jenny played a great role throughout the movie too. She and him were friends throughout the film. She never judged him or was rude to him. He later showed his love towards her, and they both started dating. He later married her, and they had a kid together. She then got diagnosed with aids and died. He proved to be a good dad to his kid, which no one could believe he would be because of his disability.
